Clamp silo covering system

Easy Silage BV is specialised in covering clamp silos. The Company is located at Dearsum in the centre of the province of Friesland, known as the dairy province of the Netherlands.

Made to fit

Easy Silage cover systems are suitable for clamp silos up to 100 metres long and 25 metres wide. The operation is remotely controlled by a Panther remote control system from Tele Radio. Since all farms are unique in the way they operate, the cover systems are made to custom specifications. Basically, there are three components of the application; the rail system, the winch system and the portal system.

Flexible system

The rail and winch systems fit just about any existing silo. The machine with the rolling mechanism runs along the channel. The receiver unit is mounted to the silo wall, using special brackets. The winch system can be used for multiple silos, thanks to a special designed point of contact. Using a tractor or telescopic loader, the operator can easily move the cover machine from one silo to another.

Replacing a fixed control panel

The customer moved from fixed controls to remote controls because it offers the operator a better view of the operation which would otherwise be partly obscured from where the original controls were mounted. Tele Radio BV expects to deliver at least 40 systems to Easy Silage BV per year.
